Als band zijn we onder de indruk van de wereld waar we in rondrennen. We houden van alle tegenstrijdigheden en stellen in onze nummers alle vragen die we hebben, soms mét antwoorden en soms zonder. In een dik uur willen we jou onze wereld laten zien en gaan we op zoek naar 'the living people' (whatever that may be...). Maar bovenal willen we onze muziek aan je later horen.

Burgeon... who?!

Burgeon bestaat uit zes eigenwijze muzikanten die hun liefde voor akoestische muziek energiek combineren met een gedurfde zoektocht naar het leven.

Met een akoestische sound, oprechte teksten en meeslepende melodieën wil Burgeon de luisteraar meenemen in hun wereld. De muzikanten schrijven hun nummers samen en laten zich inspireren door zowel de verwondering van het leven als de vragen die dit met zich mee kan brengen.

De akoestische muziekstijl met tinten van country en folk in combinatie met een grote variate aan instrumenten geeft de band een karakteristieke sound, zelf ook wel ‘wooden sound’ genoemd. Net zoals hout, dat nooit stopt met vormen, is geen enkel nummer van Burgeon ooit écht helemaal uitgegroeid. Ze laten zich altijd weer opnieuw inspireren. Hierdoor is ieder optreden uniek!
